Introduction
Media Educators' Society is a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated towards capacity building and promoting professional rights of the media educators across the country. It has the representation of journalism/media educators teaching at various levels – higher secondary, undergraduate and graduate levels in Trivuwan and Purbanchal universities. Since its beginning, it has started working for the capacity building of the media educators.

Media educators society, being the leader and guide in media education sector, envisions the media practices in Nepal will be of international standard through scholastic resources and educational opportunities.
Mission
The Media Educators' Society supports free and responsible scholastic journalism by providing resources and educational opportunities, by promoting professionalism, by encouraging and rewarding academic excellence and learning environment.
Goals
Media Educators' Society contributes for the enhancement of the ethical and responsible media practices in Nepal by facilitating quality learning opportunities for teachers, students and practitioners of media sector, by supporting the disadvantaged groups to access such opportunities, by publishing academic books, journals and information kits, by contributing to upgrade media education curriculum and classroom practices, by enhancing capacity of stakeholders on academic and research oriented studies, and by advocating the rights and duties of the media academicians.
